OPI A Grape Fit: Nail swatch!

        OPI A Grape Fit! Now that we are heading into Spring head in its now the time when my nails change from dark and vampy to bright and cheery. I know that this is not the case for all people but it is for me. A grape Fit is just a lilac purple color. Its opaque in two coats and its so pigmented. I honestly just can't get enough with this color! 

       Do you guys have this color in your collection? If so do you like it? I need help from you guys. My nail polish never lasts more than a day without chipping. I went to my nail salon and my nail lady told me that my nails are very "fragile". Do any of you have any suggestions for nail hardeners and good base and topcoats? If so please leave the product down below =) Thanks!

OOTD #1 "Sinner"

                                                  a Kylie and Kendall Jenner inspired outfit

       I finally got on the Polyvore bandwagon and I am so glad that I did. As you all know I love buying clothes, makeup and pretty much anything girly. Here's something that you guys might like to know; I love creating outfits from other peoples closets. Its a way for me to express my mind and just relax. I went a little crazy last night creating outfits out Polyvore. heres the first one that i created called "sinner". This is a Kylie and Kendall inspired outfit. Both Kylie and Kendall have snapped some amazing Instagram pics wearing "circle" skirts and cropped tops. I found that the Louboutins would be something I would find in Kendall's closet as well as the Tiffany and Co. charm bracelet.

Top 13 of 2013! (Nail polishes)

(Left to right) OPI

1. OPI Polka . Com: a turquoise and fushia chunky glitter. If you love bright colors this is perfect for you. It's a clear based glitter that isn't super think. 

2. Lincoln Park After Dark: a dark vampy purple color. I don't wear black nail polishes but this is great because sometimes  I am looking for a color that is dark enough to look like a black color.

3. Lincoln Park After Midnight: the cousin to Lincoln Park After Dark. It's lighter and more purple looking. It has a big of a duo-chrome shimmery kinda look to it. 

4. I Theadora You: the perfect baby pink color that every girl needs in her collection. 

5. Manalga Wine: a little bit darker than a candy apple red. Another essential in a collection.

6. Luxe effects in A Cut Above: rose gold colored glitter. I really like that you dong have to apply a top coat on top of this because then the polish becomes gloppy and messy and no one wants that after working so hard after painting your nails. 

7. Blanc: super opaque white. Another essential in a collection. 

8. Mint Candy Apple: during the doing and summer time this and like 3 other colors were the only colors I was wearing... LOL =) 

9. The Lace Is On: a super pretty duo chrome purple shimmery color. I love this color, it looks great when my nails are long. It's a great color to wear threw out the whole year. 

10. Chinchilly: a super basic grey color. It's opaque in two coats. Yet another essential. 

11. Midnight Cami: the blue version of The Lace Is On. It's another duo chrome blue with shimmery color. This color looks great on any nail length and it's a really pretty color for fall and winter. 

12. Formula X for Sephora polish in Obsessed: this is the color I thought that I was going to get when I bought Manalga Wine by OPI. Yes, I know a huge color difference but Obsessed is way lighter on the nails than it is in the bottle. 

13. Sinful Colors polish in Gold Medal: I love applying this color to my nails when all of my accesories are gold because it just adds that extra touch.

Top 10 of 2013! (Makeup)

         


               I can't believe that it's time to write my top 13 of 2013! I can't believe that 2013 is over! Well 2013 was a year of  discovery as far as beauty products go. I  learned so many things in 2013 and I have to say that these are the best of the best.

1. Anastasia Beauty Express for Brows and Eyes $39.50. I've heard so many great things about Anastasia's eyebrow products and I have to agree. This pallette is the perfect eye brow grooming kit for anyone beginner or professional. It comes with 5 eyebrow stencils,  eyeshadow duo, eyebrow powder duo and an angled eye brush.

2. Benefit Rockateur boxed powder blush $28. I usually don't go for nude blushes but this blush is absolutely amazing. It gives a very natural flush of color with a little sparkle which looks like a subtle highlight on the skin.

3. Nyx blush in Rose Garden $5. From the packaging this blush looks like a normal pink blush. But once you apply it you get a very natural looking pink blush with subtle gold sparkles. 

4. Maybelline Baby Lips in Peppermint, Cherry Me and Grape Vine $2.99-$7.99 depending on where you buy them. I usually apply these if I just want a glossy look with a little bit of color. These balms are pretty sheer but I love the little tint that you can build up. 

5. Nivea A Kiss of Smoothness $3.29. This the tube version of the Nivea Lip Butters. Same moisturalization and feel. The only difference is the packaging. This is a great lip balm to apply at any time of the day. It's super moisturizing and easy to apply. When I am feeling super lazy I just apply this antd violá! My lips look super hydrated and glossy. 

6. Nivea Lip Butters in Smooth Kiss, Raspberry Rosé Kiss and Caramel Cream Kiss $3.99. All of the yearly favorite blog posts I've read all have these mentioned in them. With a all good reason! They are extremely moisturizing and they smell absolutely divine. If I had to choose one I would pick Raspberry Rosé Kiss. First of all, it's pink! Oh and it smells the best!

7. Mac Lipglass in Viva Glam VI $15. It's a really pretty nude-pink shimmery gloss. It's one of those my lip but better colors and this is definitely my favorite gloss of my whole collection. 

8. Nyx Mega Shine Lip Gloss in Nude Peach $4.99. If I had to pick a second gloss in my crazy obsessive gloss collection this would be it.They are super pigmented and they feel so nice on the lips. 

9. Maybelline Great Lash Mascara $5.99. Yes this mascara has a teenie tiny wand compared to Benefit's They're Real  mascara but don't get me wrong it's still a great mascara. It lengthens and volumizes and it doesn't leave your lashes looking spidery. 

10. Urban Decay Naked Basics eyeshadow pallette $27. With a friendlier price than the rest of the palettes in the Naked Family this pallette still reaches it's expectations. It's a super high quality, pigmented pallette that you can create multiple looks with. It comes with six different shadows from the lightest color Venus ( a white shimmery highlight) to Crave ( a matte black). It turns out that each shadows is $4.50. Btw it's the same price as in the other Naked palettes.

My After Christmas Wishlist

           Yes, I know that its a little early or late (which ever perspective you take) to be posting a wishlist. If you have looked on my blog I am a shopaholic. I take after my grandma Isabel. We used to go the mall every Saturday when I was younger. Yes, I know its a little extreme.... Wishlist, oh yea right lets get back to that. OPI I Theadora You: nail swatch!

          OPI  I Theadora You is the perfect light pink color. I've been looking for this type of color for the longest and I could never find it. In most of the polishes that I've tried, the light colors are super sheer and you need to apply like 5 coats to get some color; it becomes thick and goopy and just an all around big mess. But, with this color I applied two coats and the color isn't sheer and I do get a noticeable light pink. As an accent nail I applied Polka • com by OPI and it looks darker in the picture but it's just a fuschia and turquoise chunky glitter. With one swipe you get a variety of the two different color glitters. 

       I definitely suggest purchasing I Theadora You by OPI. It's a great light pink color that looks great on all skin tones. Most of the time my manicures will have a glitter accent nail. Yes, I know I am a huge glitter junky. I'll admit it, I impulse buy glitter nail polishes AND I have to say that Polka • com is one of my favorite glitters. 

      I am always looking for new nail polishes, if you have any suggestions on a good polish please let me know. Have you tried any of the polishes that I mentioned or do you have one of them in your collection?

Twenty I's

One: I have multiple styles. Some days I love look über edgy and other days I love looking like I just walked out of a J. Crew catalog.

Two: I love merengitos (a Spanish pastry)

Four: I have one sibling her name is Brooklynn and she is six months old.

Eleven: I got lured into this beauty world by Nikki Phillippi in April 2013. No, we aren't friends or anything like that. I found her when I was looking on the Instagram popular page and I saw one of her pictures and I scrolled through her feed and I LOVED and I still do love her pics so I checked out her YouTube link and I became hooked.

Twelve: I would love to live one day as Kylie Jenner. She's my fashion inspiration and she just seems like such a fun person. 

Thirteen: I love reading books. Especially about beauty and fashion. 

Fourteen: I want to become a beauty or fashion editor for a magazine. 

Fifteen: I hate exercising but I know it's good for me. 

Sixteen: I love Twitter.

Seventeen: I don't have any of the Naked pallets by Urban Decay. I just have the Naked Basics. 

Eighteen: I am Puertorican. 

Nineteen: I'm a little obsessed with hot chocolate from Land O' Lakes. I only like the Milk Chocolate one and the Article White flavors. 

Twenty: I love Micheal Kors watches! I like the super blingy styles and I also like some of the more simple and delicate watched that wrap around your wrist.
