New Years Resolutions + Goodbye 2013

New Years Eve. The time when my family stays up till 12, which for me used to be a struggle but is now a horrible habit. My parents drink champagne and I drink my preferred sparkling grape juice. A time when most people dress up but for my family we prefer to be casual.  We lounge around on the couch and watch the ball drop and watch the festivities before and after.

I can't believe that it's 2014. The start of a new year. 4 fancy numbers to represent 365 days. Some people may say 2014 is going to be "my year" or 2013 was horrible I hope 2014 is a better year. I have to say  for me 2013 wasn't a bad year at all.

In 2013 my baby sister Brooklynn was born, Ive become closer to my mother, grandmother and aunt than I ever have been, and I created this blog. I have achieved many other things as well. Not to say the 2013 was perfect it did have some bumps in the road. No more speak of 2013 now let's talk about my New Years Resolutions!

Ive never been one to follow my new years resolutions. I give them about three days and then my excuses kick into full gear. I am completely determined for that to be different this year. I really want to accomplish these things. Not as a "life diet" but a lifestyle. Ok that sound super cheesy but whatever.

1. Save money
2. Exercise more
3. Become even closer to my family and God
4. Eat Better
5. Be more optimistic
6. Get good grades
7. Be the best beauty blogger that I can be

What did you do on New Years eve? What are your new years resolutions? I'd love to hear them so leave them down below:)

EOS lip balm review/collection

Eos lip balms are those the ones that look like "eggs" ? Yup, those are them. The overly hyped egg shaped lip balms. But here's one thing they are defiantly getting more points in the packaging section.

Let me just start off saying that I've been "collecting" for 2 years and I have yet to finish one! I have made a mark on my oldest the lip balm. They have an in-expensive price tag of $3.30 depending on where you purchase them. I've found them at Target or www.target.com or on the Eos website www.evolutionofsmooth.com .

This lip balm isn't the best at moisturizing. It's one of those lip balms that is great to keep in a purse or just to have around. I usually apply these under lipstick because they aren't too gloppy or thick.
There are a total of 8 lip balms that are part of the regular collection with a new limited edition set every few months. I own all eight including some of the limited edition balms I own (from left to right) Summer Fruit, Sweet Mint, Lemon Drop, Sweet Vanilla Wonderland, Passion Fruit, Strawberry a Sorbet, Watermelon Wonderland, Pomegranate Raspberry, Medicated Tangerine, Honeysuckle Honeydew and Blueberry Acai.

Overall, if you are looking for a lip balm to have to just have something on your lips or a glossy sheer look this is the right lip balm for you. But if you are buying this lip balm to act as your ultra-moisturizing healing balm this just won't cut it.

Bath and Body Works Semi- Annual Sale

Jeez, the last couple of posts that I've done on my blog have been hauls! Shopaholic? Yes, I know.... Yet again giving into my shopping craving I went to the mall yesterday for the usual after Christmas sales.

I stopped at was Bath and Body Works to check out the Semi-Annual Sale. They had up to 75% off. The 3- wick candles were 50% off totaling them to about $10 each. The mason jar candles were $6.25 each with the 50% discount.

I was actually surprised with my candle picks because I am NOT a fan of bakery or sickeningly sweets scents. But I am a fan of fruit and musky/sexy man scents πŸ˜‚. I got the Blackberry Spice and Sparkling Icicles candles in the Mason Jar form. Blackberry Spice smells like sweet fruits with musk. Speaking of musk, Sparkling Icicles smells like strait-up sexy manπŸ˜ŽπŸ˜‚.  I got two scents that when I first smelled them when they first came out I thought that I was going to throw-up. I couldn't stand the smell of pumpkin nor bakery scent. I have to say that when I smelled the Pumpkin Cupcake one it's smelled pretty nice. Not too sweet and not two pumpkiny. The Cider Donut Candle smells like apples, cinnamon with the perfect sweet bakery note.

I hope you guys enjoyed another haul. If you have and requests please feel free to comment them below! I would love some inspiration!

NYX Lip Gloss Review

Holla Chicas,
I hope you guys have  had a wonderful day and a great Thanksgiving and Black Friday! Am I the only one that is super excited for Christmas ?!?! Well, today I will be reviewing the NYX Butter Gloss and Mega Shine Lip gloss. I honestly love both of these products they are pigmented and they feel super great on the lips I am a huge fan of glosses and lip balms and these are part of my top ten lippies. These  puppies are phenomenal if they were able to make that list because I am a complete lippie junkie well a complete makeup junkie. LOL.

NYX Butter Gloss in Peaches and Cream-

NYX has a large color variety in almost all of their products which I really like about the brand. I decided to try out Peaches and Cream because I think that this color looks really nice against my skin tone. I first heard about these glosses on Youtube. These are super hyped and I defiantly think they are worth all of the hype they receive. They feel like like butter on your lips. They are super pigmented and they smell like candy!

NYX Mega Shine Lip Gloss in Beige and Tea Rose-

These lip glosses have a larger color variety than any other NYX lippies. Quite frankly, I still haven't expanded from the pinks. What can I say I am a neutral girl:) The NYX glosses are super shiny and feel so nice on the lips. During this time of the year I prefer Beige because it looks so great with Lighter skin tones. I think that Tea Rose looks good on any skin tone. I defiantly use Tea Rose more than Beige.

I hope you guys enjoyed my NYX Lip Gloss Review. I will talk to you ladies later.
